Extra lives:
At the mode select screen, highlight 1P Play and press Right, Right, Right, Right. Now highlight Tournament and press Right. Then highlight Course Edit and press Left, Left. Now highlight Option and press Left, Left, Left, Left, Left, Left. Now highlight 1P Play and press X. You will hear the crowd cheer to confirm. You will begin the game with seven lives instead of three.
